Boca Raton Airport Adds Landing Fee Payment Kiosks

Self-service landing fee payment kiosks are just one of the operational improvements recently implemented at Boca Raton Airport.

On May 31, 2018, the new U.S. Customs and Border Protection Facility in Boca Raton, Florida, opened its doors to the public.  The state-of-the-art 4,400 square foot building enables patrons to fly directly into Boca Raton Airport (BCT) and quickly and efficiently clear customs.  Boaters using Boca Raton Airport may also enter the landside lobby of the facility to clear customs.

As part of the operational improvements that were a focus of the new building, Boca Raton Airport Authority (BRAA) launched new landing fee payment kiosks, provided by Livewire Digital, to help speed the payment process.  The kiosks offer the ability for pilots to either select the size of their airplane and pay the appropriate fee, or to look-up the fee based on their plane’s tail number that was previously stored in the system’s database.  Boaters also have the ability to save their craft’s information for quick look-up on future landings.

Livewire’s eConcierge Management System allows BRAA to easily add and maintain customers’ airplane and vessel information.  The system allows updates to payment fee structures, a real-time view into transactions, and reporting for accounting purposes.  As an ‘all-in-one’ self-service commerce platform, Livewire’s system also provides real-time monitoring of the kiosks’ health and the ability to remotely manage the units.
